Had a great meal at the shotgun house. Rib tips were the bomb. The Elvis Presley cake was delicious.

Went in a 7PM and was greeted as soon as I walked in. The steak was perfectly cooked and delicious. The fried okra was hot and fresh and the sweet tea was great. Wait staff was friendly, never missed a refill, and continued to check on me. Couldn't ask for anything better on a Wednesday night. Great job!

Stopped here for dinner on our way to Arkansas and everything was great! Highly recommend the gator. The staff was also very friendly and even gave us recommendations for attractions near our destination. Will definitely come back!

This group of people are the best. Being visitors to MS we aren’t use to the discolored water. They were happy to get us new drinks but after tasting the water, sweet tea, and Sprite we settled on bottle water. They were very understanding and patient with me and my family. Now about the food, OMG! The absolute best!! The food was made fresh when ordered so when it was done cooking they brought it straight to our table and didn’t wait for all the food to be done at the same time. Great food, customer service and just good place to have a family dinner. I ordered the pull pork sandwich (see below). It was amazing. My mom had the daily special, which was a New York strip, baked potato and salad. She was pleasantly surprised at how they got the order correct and how tender the steak was. Definitely a must stop and enjoy their food!!

My wife called in an order for two Roast Beef plates to go. I expected to pay about triple what I was charged, and the food was delicious! I'm elderly and disabled and realized I might have difficulty getting everything to our vehicle in a single trip. Without hesitation, the owner offered to carry it out for me. That's curb service to be proud of. Thank you for going out of your way for me.

Fish was fried crispy and with a great flavor. Fried okra was spot on and the hush puppies were great. So good I had to come back the next day.

The owner was very friendly and treated us like old friends. She gave us a true southern meal with ribs, gumbo, beans and rice, boudin balls, bread pudding and Elvis cake reasonably priced.

It was very enjoyable experience . The owner came by to welcome us to the place .The food took a little bit to come out to us ; but that was understandable ,it was real food and freshly cooked to order. I would easily rate it for myself 10 of 10 Also very clean and neat.
